Meet Jen: Founder + CEO
With more than two decades of experience in corporate strategy, brand marketing and fundraising, Jen deeply understands the power of partnerships. She has worked alongside Fortune 500 companies and global non-profits – listening, match-making and building strategies that deliver meaningful action. Today she helps clients like the 5 Gyres Institute, Foundation for America’s Public Lands and Colorectal Cancer Alliance develop impactful plans, fundraising strategies and Marketing Campaigns that build strong and meaningful connections with supporters.
Prior to founding Venn, Jen led The Nature Conservancy’s Cause Marketing and Brand Partnerships division where she brought together the power of corporate influence, brand affinity and customer reach to advance sustainability goals and organizational initiatives (climate, food, water) around the globe. She honed her expertise in project management, systems thinking and integrated communications during her years with top PR Firm, Porter Novelli; and, led The National Recreation and Park Association’s grant programs helping to transform communities through youth development, sports and health.
Jen holds a B.A in Public Relations and Communications from Susquehanna University (Pa.), has completed the Walt Disney Leadership Development Program, and has served as a mentor and guest speaker at the Georgetown University Center for Social Impact. She loves working with students and start-ups; is a coach to Yogis and youth basketball-ers; and is an avid traveler, outdoor lover and dog mom.
Jen founded Venn Social Impact Partners with the goal of putting her unique skillset to work for more causes and companies seeking to leave a positive impact on society.
